EndFrame and Script Cutter are plugins for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, referred to here as "the software", "we" and "us".
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, which is the merchant of record. Gumroad is the seller for the transaction, handles payment and tax, and its own buyer terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms, which cover your use of the software.
EndFrame runs free for 7 days from the first time you open it, with both the After Effects and Premiere Pro halves unlocked. No payment details are required. When the trial ends the panel still opens, but the actions that render, create or export stop until a licence key is entered.
Every Script Cutter plan starts with a 7 day free trial through Gumroad. Gumroad takes your payment details at the start but charges nothing until the trial ends; cancel from your Gumroad receipt before then and you pay nothing. Because its AI costs us money from the first minute, a trial includes every tool, on any plan, with its own allowance: 5 hours of transcription and a set amount of AI use for the whole trial. Your plan's full monthly allowance starts with your first payment. After that, the 30 day refund in our Refund Policy applies as usual.
When you buy, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for as long as your subscription is active.
A seat is one person editing at a time — not one computer. Install EndFrame on as many of your own machines as you like. The licence runs on one of them at a time, and you move it yourself whenever you want it somewhere else.
Individual plans include one seat. Team includes one per editor you buy for, Studio includes five, and Broadcaster covers the number agreed for your facility.
From EndFrame 1.4 this is enforced by the software rather than left as an honest agreement. If you open the panel on a second machine while the licence is in use, it offers to move it there — and the machine it came from stops running new jobs until it is moved back. Moving takes one click and needs nothing from us.
You can also see and release your machines at backtime.tools/seats, and a machine unused for 45 days releases automatically, so replacing a computer takes care of itself.
Because a seat is a person working, a licence that moves between an unusual number of different machines in one week will stop moving and ask you to contact us. Switching between your own machines, however often, is never affected. If your team outgrows its plan, tell us and we will move you up.
EndFrame is sold in two halves, and a licence key unlocks only what it was bought for:
If you use a key in the half it does not cover, the panel will tell you which half you are missing.
Script Cutter is sold as three plans, Starter, Pro and Max. Each licence is for one editor, and the tools your plan does not include are marked in the panel with the plan that does.
We may deactivate a licence found to be shared publicly or resold.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the link in your Gumroad receipt or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If we change the price, existing subscribers will be told before it applies to them.
The software requires After Effects and/or Premiere Pro 2022 or later, and runs on macOS and Windows. EndFrame works with your own endboard template: it reads the template, proposes what each layer should be filled with, and you confirm that mapping once before your first run.
We are not affiliated with Adobe. Adobe, After Effects and Premiere Pro are trademarks of Adobe Inc.
Studio and Broadcaster plans include configuring EndFrame for your own endboard template and delivery convention. Send us the template and a sample schedule and we will set it up and confirm it renders correctly before you rely on it.
Updates are included while your subscription is active. Support is by email, and we aim to answer within two working days. We may change or remove features over time, though we will not remove something central without telling subscribers first.
You keep all rights to everything you produce with the software. We claim nothing over your projects, renders or delivered files. See the Privacy Policy: EndFrame never sends your work anywhere, and Script Cutter sends only what its transcription and AI tools need, keeping none of it.
The software is provided as is. We work hard to make it correct, and it is designed to flag rather than guess when it is unsure, but you remain responsible for checking your own broadcast deliverables before they go to air. Automated output should be reviewed like any other part of your delivery process.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You can stop using the software and cancel at any time. We may end a licence if these terms are broken, in which case we will normally tell you first and give you a chance to put it right, unless the breach is serious.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and existing subscribers will be emailed about any significant change.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nothing here affects consumer rights you have where you live that cannot be set aside by agreement.
